Vice Gov. Observes 6 Inner Ring Roads Construction

Section A is hoped to run commercial operation by the middle of next year

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno observes six inner ring roads construction in Phase 1 (Semanan-Sunter-Pulogebang). 

It is done because Sandi wants to know directly the preparation progress of Section A construction which is a part of Phase 1 with 9-kilometer route.

He informed, Phase 1 has 30 kilometers in total. It is divided into three sections. Those are Section A (Pulogebang-Kelapa Gading), Section B (Semanan-Grogol), and Section C (Grogol-Kelapa Gading).

"Hopefully it could run on schedule. Section A is hoped to run commercial operation by the middle of next year," he conveyed on the location on Jl. Boulevard Gading Timur, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Wednesday (7/11).

He assessed, six inner ring roads construction will give tremendous affect since it can be the main traffic from West Jakarta to East Jakarta and vice versa.

"Moreover, this tollway will provide lane for Transjakarta rapid transit bus," he added.

According to him, Phase 1 construction will open more job opportunities.

"Three sections will be built, and hopefully it can absorb 3,000 employments," he added. 

Meanwhile, PT. Jakarta Toll Road Development Director, Frans Sunito added construction in Section A, B and C will connect Semanan and Pulogebang with 30 kilometers length and projected to complete in 2021.

"Section B is planned to have contractor by the end of September. and we want it to start in October. While for Section C will be auctioned in early 2019. Its construction is started at least in April 2019," he affirmed.
